Urban Stream Systems

MHFD’s specialty is managing Urban Stream Systems from planning through construction and maintenance. The Urban Stream Framework is the Flood District’s approach to delivering Higher-Functioning, Lower-Maintenance Systems (HFLMS) by understanding streams through the lens of the Five Elements of Urban Stream Management using tools like the Urban Stream Assessment Procedure (USAP) and Urban Stream Studies.
