Urban Stream Planning Overview

Planning is an essential part of MHFD’s Urban Stream Framework. The Planning stage involves identifying values-at-risk and opportunities along a stream corridor and recommending actions to address them. During this stage, we’ll utilize assessment data to determine what concerns are defined as problems (along with any related opportunities) and what proposed actions need to be taken to address them. Urban stream planning can include as few or as many assessment and planning scope items as necessary to achieve the stated goals and objectives of the Study and to promote the protection of our people, property, and environment.
